Full weekend

We had a great weekend with everyone and enjoyed all the kids! Here are all of us (minus Jason) before Amy and Laura left yesterday.
Laura and Amy got showers that morning, but I did not, so that is why they look very put together and I am still in my pj's.
Hannah had to learn how to share her daddy this weekend. At one point, Kate came up and gave Jason a kiss and Hannah was clearly a bit jealous by this.
She snuggled up close and then wanted to be held by her daddy. So cute though!!!

We miss you guys Laura and Amy, but we will see you in a few months!

Time with the kids...

We are hanging out with cousin Bryce and Kate and Aunt Amy and Laura. We are having a blast with the kids and it is great having a full house. Thankfully the kids are all on the same schedule which makes nap time and bed time great. Today we went to the water park around the corner from our house and the kids really enjoyed it. Hannah was a little fish in the water which is funny because she has not been a huge fan of the water up until now. Anyway, I will have many more pictures to come once we get them off all of our cameras. Until then, we are having a great time and really enjoying cousins and Aunts!

15 months!!!

Can you believe that Hannah is already 15 months!!! It felt like just yesterday when she was 5 months. Do you remember this little baby...I can't even remember what it was like back then. This picture was taken at 5 months old!!! She looks like she has NO hair compared to now.

Anyway, we had a check up this morning with shots (ick!) and she is doing great! Here are her stats:
Weight - 21 lbs. 9 oz (26%)
Height - 31.5 in (76%)
Head - 19 in
She is still on the small side, but if you watch her eat her meals you would not know how she stays that way. This girl can pack down the food! The doctor was very pleased with her development though and she seems to be right on target. So, all is well.

Stylin' in Walmart

We have talked about wanting to get Hannah sunglasses for some time now, but we have not found them many places. Well, I found some at Walmart this week, so we tried them all on and picked a favorite. Sorry the pictures are not great, I took them with my phone.
Here were the camo green ones...not our favorite and way to big for her face.
The yellow ones looked good on the shelf, but the seethrough lenses were to much for me and they were also a bit big for her face.
The red ones fit great and even matched her outfit that day. So, we bought the cute little red ones.
Arn't we stylin' now?!?!

7th Wedding Anniversary

I can't believe that today will mark 7 years that Jason and I have been married!!! It has been a blessing to me and I can't believe all the wonderful things that have happened in this time. I remember our wedding like it was yesterday and yet I can't really remember what it was like to not have Jason in my life.
Our wedding was a wonderful day and I remember it with such joy! God has blessed us tremendously in these past 7 years and it makes me look forward to our future with so much more anticipation.
I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and for another year together!!!! Happy Anniversary Jason...I love you so much!!!!

Great weekend

We are back from a great weekend at Papaw and Granny's house. Hannah had a wonderful time playing tea party with everyone and Jason and I had a great date night too. We went to Dave and Busters to celebrate our anniversary. Actually we went to a massive mall in north Dallas where it was located and were quite overwhelmed by how incredibly huge it was! I think we have gotten to used to our small town living.
Anyway, Hannah was spoiled rotten by Papaw and Granny and she loved every minute of it! Here are some pictures of our weekend together.
Granny showed Hannah how to have a tea party complete with a teddy bear and baby doll. I didn't know how Hannah would take to the imaginary tea party thing...but she ate it up! She loved it and was quickly "sipping" tea and sharing with us and the baby doll. It really was so cute. At first she and Granny played with Granny's real tea set, but we quickly decided that Hannah needed a more kid friendly set.

The more kid friendly set was perfect and Hannah even got her own set to take home and play with here.
Here she is feeding the baby doll some tea.
Even Papaw got in on the tea party action.
We played outside a good bit and Hannah wore herself out walking all over.
Look at this pose... We showed Hannah how to fish...she wasn't overly impressed. She was much more interested in the mud and the water. I guess that will come later. Papaw was the only one who caught a fish, although we all got a lot of nibbles.
Of course we also played in the bounce house and Hannah seems to enjoy it more each time. I finally got a video of her playing in it too.

Here she was playing with her tea set tonight when we got home. She loves it and I think it will get a lot of use from her in the next few years.
Such a happy girl!!!

Silly girl

These are some videos of Hannah doing some silly new things. In the first one she is walking all over her room with her blanket covering her head. This is a fun new game for her and she loves to come crashing into me after walking around the room.

Last night she started spinning uncontrollably and thought it was great. When we told her to spin she would go off spinning until she could no longer stand up. It was pretty funny!

We are headed out of town this weekend to see Papaw and Granny. Jason and I will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary on Monday. So we will actually take the opportunity to go out and celebrate tomorrow night when we can go out as adults and leave Hannah to be spoiled by grandparents. Double YAH!

Finally finished painting...

...well, upstairs at least. We finished the loft, bathroom, and office last night and I have to say it looks pretty good. We also hung some pictures which makes it look that much nicer. It really is amazing what some white paint will do for you. The people before us painted all the trim and doors either brown (YIKES) or an off white/cream. So, once we got white on it now it looks totally different, and better in my opinion.
This is in the loft (playroom) above Hannah's little play table. Just look past the blue painting tape, I still had some touch up to do when I took these pictures.

We hung 2 pictures in Hannah's room and it really made all the difference in the way the room looked. Don't mind the half naked baby or the books all over the floor either.
Kelly made the "H" on the wall for us and gave it to us this week. It was perfect for that wall and completed the room. She also made a "C" for little Caleb and it hangs in his room. She is such a great friend and "aunt."

Hanging out with friends

Last night we all went to Crystal and Kevin's house for a fajita dinner with the babies and good friends. I always have such a great time with Kelly and Crystal! Jason and Kevin where there too, which was great. We hung out in the backyard for a little while soaking up the cool weather until it started sprinkling. Hannah looks a bit out of it in this picture. I guess you can't expect to ever get 3 adults and 2 babies to all look good at one time for the camera can you?
Kevin, CJ, and Crystal
I love this little guy...his dimples could melt my heart!

We had some fun on the trampoline. Although Hannah really was just interested in how to get off of it so she could go see the dog.

The kids played on the kitchen floor for awhile and we tried to get a good shot of the 2 of them together. The think the above shot is the best one.At one point Hannah just bent down and kissed Caleb! Oh yah...she clearly knew what she was doing. It was pretty funny! And, when we asked her to do it again she did, many times! I had to warn Jason that his little girl was kissing boys already. Caleb was not impressed either. He actually pushed her face away at one point.

Ready or not...

Auburn football time is just around the corner! We are already gearing up for it around here. Hannah is still sporting the cute outfit Aunt Amy made for her and is ready to watch some Tiger football. She is getting her cheers ready too!

I don't quite know what happened to make Hannah's hair grow so much, but it has "sprouted" this summer! It is now down her neck and curling up at the bottom. I can't quite describe the color of it, but I think it is beautiful. It seems to be a brownish/dirty blonde with some reddish highlights in it. Anyway, I am absolutely loving it and often can't stop myself from running my fingers through it all day long. However, Hannah stops me and throws my hand away from her head. I guess she doesn't like it when I play with her hair.
Anyway, here it is in all its beautiful glory....

Look at those awesome red highlights.
And yes, it is long enough that I can put it up in a smallish ponytail. The sides aren't long enough yet, but it is cute none the less.

Some fun tricks

I finally got a video of Hannah walking backwards. She loves to do this especially right before bed when she gets kind of hyper. Why is that babies get hyper right before bedtime anyway?!?!

And this one is a fun thing that she does with Zoey. The other day Jason told her that Zoey might be thirsty and need some milk. So, she promptly went over, got the milk and proceeded to feed it to Zoey. So cute!! Anyway, I got it on video yesterday. If you listen closely at the beginning you can hear Hannah say "milk" as she goes to get it.

I love that she is learning all of these things and seems to be picking up new things each day. She has quite a list of things that she says now including: Dada, Mama, Molly, dog, milk, bottle, bellybutton, ball, and Bob (from Veggie Tales). I love listening to her talk and try to imitate the things we say. The best is when she watches us make the "l" sound with our mouths and then she walks around sticking her tongue out and making a very exaggerated "l" sound.

New baby seat

Hannah has found a new favorite place to sit...on Molly! Sorry these pictures are so grainy but I snapped them with my phone. The past few days she has LOVED sitting on Molly's side. I really do feel so bad for sweet Molly, she takes so much abuse from Hannah and still just loves on her.
It is kind of sad sometimes because Hannah will go to sit on Molly's side and miss and sit on her head instead. It is a rude awakening when Molly is asleep on the floor too! But, Molly just gets up (sometimes rather quickly) and goes to lay down somewhere else.

Hannah got up and went to get her blanket and came and sat back down....sweet kids!!!
