5th Birthday Joy

How truly blessed we are by wonderful family and friends who shower our sweet Hannah with the utmost love and care.  Thank you all for making this day so special for her.  

We truly are blessed with wonderful community and family, and Hannah was certainly the beneficiary of that on her birthday.

Happy Birthday Jason!

While Jason and Hannah's birthdays are back to back I never want to skip over wishing my sweet husband a very happy birthday!

He is an amazing husband, wonderful father, devoted worker, trusted friend, and so much more!  We are so thankful for Jason and for another year of life.

Hannah would not be who she is today without her daddy.  She loves him to the moon and back and absolutely loves to play with him.  He is by far the favored play partner for Hannah (I'm just not that fun!) and they enjoy a common taste for TV shows, and playing outside together. 

 And...he's silly!  Hannah clearly gets her looks and her silliness from Jason.  And, I would have it NO other way.  These two constantly crack me up and crack each other up.

So, Happy Happy Birthday Jason!  We love you so much and are so thankful for you today and everyday!

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY!

To our sweet Hannah on her fifth birthday.

Hannah,

I can't believe that you are 5 years old today!  5 years ago, we never could have imagined how wonderful life was going to be with you.  And now, we are so blessed by your sweet smile and sweeter spirit.  You bring us joy every day and are constantly making us laugh.  You are learning so much so quickly and are so curious about everything.  You are a quiet listener and processer and are always thinking about what is going on around you and you ask tons of questions to better understand people, things, and situations.

You love to serve your family and others are are always looking for ways to be helpful around the house.  You are a sweet friend who loves to play with others.  You have a huge imagination and especially love to play with your ponies.  You love to tell stories about your ponies too.

And, you are silly!  You constantly have funny and silly things to say to us and to others.  You especially like to make your daddy laugh.  You enjoy rough housing with your daddy and always enjoy a good tickling. 

You are a home body who just enjoys staying at home and playing.  You have a big sweet tooth and especially love frozen yogurt.  You love anything and everything pink and would wear a dress or skirt everyday of your life.  You are a true girly girl!

What makes me most joyful though is your growing love and knowledge of God.  You talk to us often about how much you love God.  You pray often and with the bold faith of a child.  We continue to pray for you, sweet Hannah.  That you would know and trust God with your whole heart and life.  Your daddy and I are so deeply in love with you and the joy you have brought to us.  I still can't believe that you will start school this fall, but I know that it is going to be awesome.

Preschool Graduation...Already?!?!

Our sweet Hannah had her preschool graduation from Mother's Day Out last Thursday.  The kids were so cute as they sang for all the parents.  The teachers presented each child with their own bible and a diploma.  Hannah loved receiving her bible and has carried it around for days.  It is such a blessing that she finds such joy in God's word!

Hannah has had 2 wonderful teachers this year that have helped her find joy in school and learning.  I am thankful to God for the time and effort they have both given to Hannah.

I love these two.  Such sweet friends.

What a joy it was on Thursday to celebrate this year of preschool for Hannah.  We are blessed indeed!
