We were successful in getting a picture of all 5 grandkids for Granny and Papaw today! It was a bit of a task, but the kids did great. Papaw and Granny were ambitious today and decided to watch all 5 kids so us mommies, Kacy, Amy, and I could go and hang out together. It was a great time of adult/girl time in town. After this picture we decided to take all 4 of the older kids to take a bath together in Granny and Papaw's big bathtub....it was great!
Ava (1 year), Josiah (3 years), Halee (2 years), Hannah (1.5 years), and baby Skyler (8 weeks). Aren't they adorable together?!?!

Here is baby Skyler. She is SO cute and it has been great to hang out with such a little one again. I sure am going to miss these kids when we head back to Waco!

Hanging with family
We are now hanging out with Papaw and Granny at their house. Kacy and all the kids came down to Waco for a few days to hang out and today we all came back up to Papaw and Granny's house for a few days. We are having a blast with everyone! Hannah is loving playing with the older kids and it is all she can do to keep up with them. Anyway, I will post pictures soon.

Our Surprise Weekend
We had a quick surprise weekend last weekend in California. My sister in law Kacy planned an incredible surprise birthday party for my brother Joey and thankfully my dad and I were able to get away for the weekend and attend the party. We left here Friday morning and got back late Sunday night. He had NO idea we were coming and the look on his face when he walked in and saw everyone at the party was priceless. Kacy has been planning this party for months and Joey really was genuinly surprised. It was great!

Here he was walking through the front door and the welcoming party below.

There was a great time of toasting the birthday boy too. It was so cool to hear how my brother has touched so many lives. He is such a cool guy!
Here was the big group of partiers! It was so fun to catch up with so many people I had not seen in years.
The happy family of 5! We were able to bring Kacy and all 3 kids back with us to Texas for about 10 days. I am looking forward to hanging out with them more while they were here. I wish Joey could have come too, but he is at home working this week.
What a sweet couple...I love this guys so much!!!!

Fun with crayons
Since we are painting in the house right now, we have plenty of brown butcher paper around. I decided that it would make a nice canvas for coloring too. The piece we used was big enough for Hannah to sit on and color all around her, it really was kind of nice. I think I will use this method for coloring for the forseeable future until she figures out how to not color off the paper.

I drew this picture to show Hannah what I look like at the end of a rough day...like Wedensday of this week....bulging red eyes, screaming/crying...enough said!
P.S. Happy Birthday BillyAnn...have a great one today!!!! We're thinking about you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOEY!!!!
Today is my big brother Joey's 30th birthday! He is the best big brother a girl could ever ask for and I am SO thankful for him! Besides being my brother he was always a great friend even when we were young. I still consider him to be one of my closest friends and I hold our relationship as extremely dear to me.
So, happy birthday Joey. We love you! In honor of your birthday today we had a popsicle to celebrate. Hannah was very excited even though she had no clue what we were celebrating.

Do you like this fake smile?!?!

She was even sweet enough to try and wipe her mouth when she finished. If only I could get her to do that after every meal.

She's in the big leagues now
A few days ago I introduced Hannah to corn on the cob. She has had corn before, but never from the cob. It was messy but she loved it. At first, she couldn't figure out quite how to eat it so she was mainly eating from the ends.

She quickly figured out that she could eat from the whole cob and this is when it got really messy. I think it is great that she is so willing to try new foods (Amy - I certainly don't take that for granted!)..JPG)

Full weekend
We had a great weekend with everyone and enjoyed all the kids! Here are all of us (minus Jason) before Amy and Laura left yesterday.
Laura and Amy got showers that morning, but I did not, so that is why they look very put together and I am still in my pj's.
Hannah had to learn how to share her daddy this weekend. At one point, Kate came up and gave Jason a kiss and Hannah was clearly a bit jealous by this.
She snuggled up close and then wanted to be held by her daddy. So cute though!!!
We miss you guys Laura and Amy, but we will see you in a few months!

Time with the kids...
We are hanging out with cousin Bryce and Kate and Aunt Amy and Laura. We are having a blast with the kids and it is great having a full house. Thankfully the kids are all on the same schedule which makes nap time and bed time great. Today we went to the water park around the corner from our house and the kids really enjoyed it. Hannah was a little fish in the water which is funny because she has not been a huge fan of the water up until now. Anyway, I will have many more pictures to come once we get them off all of our cameras. Until then, we are having a great time and really enjoying cousins and Aunts!

15 months!!!
Can you believe that Hannah is already 15 months!!! It felt like just yesterday when she was 5 months. Do you remember this little baby...I can't even remember what it was like back then. This picture was taken at 5 months old!!! She looks like she has NO hair compared to now.
Anyway, we had a check up this morning with shots (ick!) and she is doing great! Here are her stats:
Weight - 21 lbs. 9 oz (26%)
Height - 31.5 in (76%)
Head - 19 in
She is still on the small side, but if you watch her eat her meals you would not know how she stays that way. This girl can pack down the food! The doctor was very pleased with her development though and she seems to be right on target. So, all is well.

Stylin' in Walmart
We have talked about wanting to get Hannah sunglasses for some time now, but we have not found them many places. Well, I found some at Walmart this week, so we tried them all on and picked a favorite. Sorry the pictures are not great, I took them with my phone.
Here were the camo green ones...not our favorite and way to big for her face.
The yellow ones looked good on the shelf, but the seethrough lenses were to much for me and they were also a bit big for her face.
The red ones fit great and even matched her outfit that day. So, we bought the cute little red ones. .JPG)
Arn't we stylin' now?!?!

7th Wedding Anniversary
I can't believe that today will mark 7 years that Jason and I have been married!!! It has been a blessing to me and I can't believe all the wonderful things that have happened in this time. I remember our wedding like it was yesterday and yet I can't really remember what it was like to not have Jason in my life.
Our wedding was a wonderful day and I remember it with such joy! God has blessed us tremendously in these past 7 years and it makes me look forward to our future with so much more anticipation.
I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and for another year together!!!! Happy Anniversary Jason...I love you so much!!!!

Great weekend
We are back from a great weekend at Papaw and Granny's house. Hannah had a wonderful time playing tea party with everyone and Jason and I had a great date night too. We went to Dave and Busters to celebrate our anniversary. Actually we went to a massive mall in north Dallas where it was located and were quite overwhelmed by how incredibly huge it was! I think we have gotten to used to our small town living.

The more kid friendly set was perfect and Hannah even got her own set to take home and play with here.
Here she is feeding the baby doll some tea.
Even Papaw got in on the tea party action.
We played outside a good bit and Hannah wore herself out walking all over.
Look at this pose...
We showed Hannah how to fish...she wasn't overly impressed. She was much more interested in the mud and the water. I guess that will come later. Papaw was the only one who caught a fish, although we all got a lot of nibbles.

Such a happy girl!!!
Anyway, Hannah was spoiled rotten by Papaw and Granny and she loved every minute of it! Here are some pictures of our weekend together.
Granny showed Hannah how to have a tea party complete with a teddy bear and baby doll. I didn't know how Hannah would take to the imaginary tea party thing...but she ate it up! She loved it and was quickly "sipping" tea and sharing with us and the baby doll. It really was so cute. At first she and Granny played with Granny's real tea set, but we quickly decided that Hannah needed a more kid friendly set.
Of course we also played in the bounce house and Hannah seems to enjoy it more each time. I finally got a video of her playing in it too.
Here she was playing with her tea set tonight when we got home. She loves it and I think it will get a lot of use from her in the next few years.
