Our shellshocked dog

Molly has been a bit traumatized since Hannah came home. She is a sweet big sister but she seems to be a bit exhausted from all the newness of this. This is how she spends most of her day...asleep in the bed.

Baby in red

I love this red outfit on Hannah, she looks so cute in it!

Deep in thought

Hannah likes to sleep with her hands either above her head or by her face like this photo. I captured this one for her daddy...she looks deep in thought like he often does. I definitely think she is ready for college already!

A lifesaver

Hannah has had a few rough nights with sleeping, and we finally found something that worked (at least for the time being). The minute we put her in her swing she went into a deep entranced sleep. Her little pinkie stayed up like that the whole time she was swinging...it was really cute!
You can also see her big monkey toes in this picture. She gets her long fingers and toes from her daddy.
Thankfully she has done a bit better with sleeping at night, but we are still pulling ideas from our bag of tricks.

Theological education

Mandi...in response to your comment Jason has ramped up his theological education to now include greek translation and reading Romans. Hannah passed with flying colors (according to Jason). Do you see how interested she looks?

Daddy and daughter

This is how I found Jason and Hannah during nap time yesterday. It was so cute I had to capture the moment. This shows just a bit of the fatigue we are all feeling right now. It is so worth it though when I look at Hannah's cute face!

Photo session

We had a photo session today with Hannah. We took a bunch of pictures to hopefully frame in her room soon. We waited until she was fed to take all the pictures, but she still got tired of it after awhile. Oh well, they came out really cute anyway.

WE ARE FINALLY HOME!!!

We were discharged from the hospital late last night and were able to finally come home. It felt great to be home as a family. Hannah's numbers continued to go down by yesterday evening, so she now has a clean bill of health. She is looking less yellow and is feeding and sleeping great!
Thanks again for your prayers and support. It feels like we are finally beginning life together here at home.

She sleeps like her daddy!

Hannah looks just like her daddy when she sleeps like this. I think it is absolutely adorable!

I love this picture of Jason holding Hannah. He is such a good daddy!

Still in the hospital

We are still in the hospital trying to get Hannah's billirubin levels down. We are hoping that by tomorrow we will be able to come home and enjoy her outside of the hospital. She is still doing really well (besides being yellow) and is sleeping and eating great.
Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support of us in this time. We will let you know when we arrvie back home with our little bundle of joy.

Jaundice Baby

We were readmitted to the hospital on Wednesday because Hannah's jaundice levels had risen too high. We are still there and her levels are slowly dropping.

SHE'S HERE!

Hannah Alathea was born on Monday, May 14 at 1:23pm. She was 8 lbs 15oz and 20 in long. We are finally home and everyone is doing well. We are a bit biased, but we think she is absolutely adorable! She is feeding and sleeping well (even though we are not necessarily) and seems to be a very content baby.
Thank you all for your prayers, support, and encouragement in this time. We could not have gotten this far without this!
I have set this blog up so it will be easier for us to get pictures to everyone without sending them in emails. So, check back often, and I will do my best to post new pictures of our growing family.
We love you all!

Welcome to the world!
